On Saturday, February 11th we hosted the BEST PARTY EVER.  We took time to remember Dawson and tell stories.  We celebrated Dawson's life by singing, dancing, laughing,  and enjoying the company of great friends and family - old and new.  And we took action . . .

 Rock the Heavens raised $17,000 for the Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.

It seems like after every event, we are overwhelmed by the support for our endeavours and it's becoming increasingly difficult to find adequate words to say thank you.  It is a truly humbling experience.

 To everyone who attended, who donated, who sponsored, who took part in the auction, who helped organize - from the Ellert's, thank you.

On February 11th, 2012 we'll be hosting an event to celebrate the life of our incredible little man. February 15th will mark two years since Dawson had to leave and we can't think of a better way to remember him than to all get together and smile . . .

Dawson loved to have family and friends near and always took part in fun and festivities with his ever present smile. So we'll honour that . . .

Let's get together, have a great time, let him know we're still here and still thinking of him, and raise money for the much needed Children's Hospital of Saskatchewan - all proceeds from the event will be donated in Dawson's memory.

Rock the Heavens will take place Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at St Mary's Hall in Regina. Rybchuk's Catering will be putting together an awesome meal, mmmmmmmmmm - a Prime Rib supper with all the fixin's.

We've got Wonderland lined up to rock us through the night and we've put in a special request that they learn Thunderstruck. Dancing is optional and neither encouraged, nor discouraged.

What IS encouraged, is that you come out and enjoy your evening as we seek to honour our son and help to make hospital stays a better, healthier experience for our children and families.

Tickets are $40 per person - unfortunately, minors will not be allowed.
