Skate4Smiles in Memory of Dawson Ellert

The 2011 edition of the Skate4Smiles kickoff Steak/Pasta supper was very, very successful.  What was intended to be a means to get together under better circumstances than in February of 2010 turned out to be a great start to our fundraising efforts.

There were 232 Steak/Pasta tickets sold and approximately 40 kids attended.  All because of your generosity, after paying all of our costs for the supper and many of our costs for the skate-a-thon itself, we were able to present a cheque for $2,100 to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan in Dawson’s memory.

We deeply appreciate all of your support; it was great to see everyone there.  We hope you all had fun and we look forward to seeing you next year when it will be bigger, better, and more fun than ever!
